Rebel Hospitality is a guest-centric, lifestyle driven ownership and management company that exists to bring a wholly unique travel experience to our guests. Our properties are not about the stars and diamonds - they are about evoking a memorable experience. Rebel is committed to be a valued part of the communities in which we reside. Our focus is not only on providing an amazing local experience to travelers but is also committed to providing locals with destinations for dining, nightlife, and overnights for those occasions they need to escape - nearby. Our hotels and outlets are singular, stand-out independent entities, developed with a high proclivity for one-of-kind design and a genuinely unique guest experience. Rebel celebrates individuality and lauds the eccentricities that are part of every individual’s genuine self. We are merely enthusiastic supporting characters that help guests create, live, and tell their own unique story. Hotels. Unchained.

ACME was the first “approachable lifestyle boutique hotel” in Chicago designed for the ME generations. We are an enabler of this generation to be expressive, to have the extra is they deserve, to be surrounded by cool, without it defining who they are. ACME is a reflection - not a definition. It is an entity all its own that organically evolves each and every day.

At ACME, guests are surrounded by an eclectic environment that inspires and celebrates individuality. We think of ourselves as a little bit roadside Route 66, a tad rocker, and a whole lot personality - a little bit retro, and forward thinking all at the same time. And while ensuring   an outstanding guest experience is serious business, ACME does not take itself too seriously. We are about being genuine, expressive, innovative, and individual. That is why we emphasize our love for music and art - the creative freedom and self-expression is so powerful! And the people we welcome to ACME’s team are encouraged to reflect and express the characteristics that make them unique.

Since the beginning, ACME has been on the receiving end of a lot of name-calling, for example, Travel+Leisure happened to call us a “hipster hotel”, and “gritty-chic”. Thrillist said   we were the “Perfect stay for a night of fantasy rockstardom”. Even the Telegraph from far across the pond said we had “all the accoutrements for the modern urban hipster” . . . (Well, we did not say it was BAD name-calling)! ACME has made a lot of lists too - multiple appearance on Condé Nast Traveler’s and Travel + Leisure’s Annual Top Ten lists just to name a few. Forgive the bragging, but we are pretty proud . . . and now you can be too!

The culture, and vibe that lies at the heart of ACME and reverberates through everything we do is quite clearly expressed in our tagline, our mantra, DO YOUR THING. You are going to have a great time and make a lot of people happy. Buckle Up!
